Product Description

Product Description
Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer. It typically appears as a white, waxy solid, and is non-toxic, odorless, transparent in appearance, and lightweight. Its chemical formula is (C3H6)n, and its density ranges from 0.89 to 0.92 grams per cubic centimeter, making it the least dense thermoplastic resin. Its melting point is between 164 and 176 degrees Celsius, and it begins to soften at around 155 degrees Celsius. The operating temperature range is from -30 degrees Celsius to 140 degrees Celsius. Due to its lightweight, wear resistance, antibacterial properties, and ease of dyeing, polypropylene is widely used in fiber products such as clothing and blankets. It also exhibits good insulating properties and is used to manufacture the casings and components of refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, televisions, and other appliances. With its excellent chemical stability, heat resistance, transparency, and mechanical properties, it is used in the manufacture of medical devices. Additionally, its corrosion resistance, weatherability, and malleability make it suitable for the production of construction and building materials.
