LLDPE, also known as linear low-density polyethylene, has a basic linear molecular structure, high softening and melting temperatures, high tensile elongation at break, good toughness, and good resistance to most household chemicals and solvents. It can be processed and molded through methods such as extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding, and is suitable for fields such as film, molding, pipe, and wire and cable.
Production method: Linear low-density polyethylene is mainly made of ethylene as the raw material, with a small amount of alpha olefins (such as butene-1, octene-1, etc.), and polymerized in a gas-phase fluidized bed under high or low pressure under the action of a catalyst. The structural formula is - [CH2-CH2] n -. The reacted material is granulated, dried, and sent for packaging.
